On lunchtimes I tend to walk the many pathways of the cemetery as it is a quiet place to think. I cam across the grave of Dr Rossvally quite by chance as I was taken by the inscription stating he was 'a surgeon in the American army'. I have since googled his name and have come across this site and learnt a little more about him. I thought you may like to know I often visit Dr Rossvallys grave, say 'hello' and stand awhile in reflection. Thank you for filling in a few of the blanks about this remarkable man for me.

They couldn't wait to meet a real author. The children loved when Miss Vivian began telling the children about the illustrations and how they related to her personal life. The children connected well with learning that they can write stories about God and their own lives. As a teacher, I appreciated how gentle and kind she was to my class of students who I care about deeply. I felt like she saw my students like the treasures that they are. I hope she can come back next year to speak to my new treasures!
