My first grade class had a wonderful experience with Mrs. Vivian May Edwards and her book Creation's Praise. The children were very engaged in learning and really enjoyed the book. Mrs. Vivian did a wonderful job bringing the page to life. They loved the pictures as well as the story. They will be talking about this one for a long time! Thank you! Vivian, Janis gave Gracelyn a copy of your beautiful book for Christmas. I just wanted to tell you how precious it is. It brought tears to my eyes when we saw it was your book. The poems are so sweet and inspiring, I love poetry!

Miss Vivian's visit to my First Grade class at Cornerstone Prep. was awesome! It was so fun to hear the kids' anticipation. They couldn't wait to meet a real author. The children loved when Miss Vivian began telling the children about the illustrations and how they related to her personal life. The children connected well with learning that they can write stories about God and their own lives. As a teacher, I appreciated how gentle and kind she was to my class of students who I care about deeply. I felt like she saw my students like the treasures that they are. I hope she can come back next year to speak to my new treasures!
